Ford is teasing the next 2026 Taurus for international markets.
The changes to the Middle East market Taurus include a new grille flanked with high-riding headlights — there’s a hint of Mustang there.
The rear gets a new fascia, body-color diffuser, and updated taillights. Inside, the center console will be revised and it seems likely materials will be updated.
Why are we bothering with a Taurus sold overseas? Well, there’s always the possibility that Ford could revive the nameplate in the States — the Taurus name was shifted to the mid-size sedan in other markets.
That’s not to say the car will be back — we’ve heard nothing either way. We just like to check in with international markets here and there, because we never know when an international nameplate could come Stateside.
