Two years after the first season ended, Twisted Metal is back with a mega second season. The new season is much bigger and, dare we say, twistier than Season 1, complete with plenty of references to the original PlayStation video games that started it all.

What is the Twisted Metal Season 2 Premiere Date?
Twisted Metal Season 2 hits Peacock on July 31, 2025. And that Season 2 premiere will consist of the first three episodes of the season. Here are those episode titles:

Twisted Metal Season 2 Episode Block Release Schedule
There will be a total of 12 episodes in Twisted Metal Season 2. After the first three episodes drop on Thursday, July 31, future episodes also drop in blocks. That release schedule looks like this:
- July 31: Episodes 1,2, and 3
- August 7: Episodes 4 and 5
- August 14: Episodes 6 and 7
- August 21: Episodes 8 and 9
- August 28: Episodes 10, 11, and 12

What Time Do Twisted Metal Episodes Start Streaming?
Peacock doesn’t always start streaming new episodes of shows at the same time. That said, historically, Peacock shows tend to drop around 5:00 a.m. Eastern time. So, very early on July 31, the first three Twisted Metal episodes will be live.
What is the Plot of Twisted Metal Season 2’s Debut Episodes?
Season 2 of Twisted Metal will pick up where Season 1 left off: John (Anthony Mackie) has been separated from Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) and his sister. But, as a driver in the post-apocalyptic landscape of Twisted Metal, John and Quiet, as well as John’s sister, Dollface (Tiana Okoye), will the thrust into a massive tournament.
