Tesla recently rolled out a new Model Y for global markets, but it didn’t take long for it to arrive on our shores. The updated electric crossover arrives with more range, an updated look, and a higher price than its predecessor. Tesla plans to release the EV in March, but the order books are open now.

Only one variant of the new Model Y is available now, with the other three options on Tesla’s website coming from the previous model. The Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive Launch Series starts at $59,990 and comes “fully loaded” with Full Self-Driving tech and other features.

While it shares some design elements with the earlier Model Y, the new version gets updated lightbars in the front and rear. The headlights are now smaller and mounted lower in the front bumper, and the front-end design lost its rounded “dolphin nose” look in favor of sharper lines.

Like the new Model 3, Tesla equips an 8-inch rear touchscreen, and the crossover gets a massive 15.4-inch display in the front that handles everything from climate and audio controls to speedometer functions. Acoustic glass should make the cabin quieter and the sound from the “invisible speakers” clearer.

Other variants will become available later, but the Launch Series aims to grab early adopters with a handful of exclusive touches. It gets a unique badge on the rear liftgate, Launch Series kickplates, puddle lights, and a premium vegan suede interior. Tesla also splashed Launch Series badges on parts of the interior, including at the base of the wireless phone charging dock.
