recall alert 2025 mercedes benz g63 2025 mercedes benz g580

Today’s recall involves some Mercedes-Benz products. The 2025 Mercedes-Benz G63 and 2025 Mercedes-Benz G580.

It’s a very small recall. Very, very small. Mercedes-Benz USA is recalling 12 units of the 2025 AMG G63 and G 580 due to a defect in the front short-range radar sensor’s printed circuit board. The issue could cause the automatic emergency braking system and other driver assistance features to stop functioning, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the affected radar sensor at no cost to owners. Notification letters are scheduled to be mailed on December 16, 2025. Owners can contact Mercedes-Benz customer service at 1-800-367-6372, and affected VINs will be available for lookup on NHTSA.gov beginning October 24, 2025.
