QOTD: Will Right-to-Repair Pass?

qotd will right to repair pass

Right-to-repair legislation has been revived.

Will it pass?

I was also going to ask if it should pass, but I suspect almost everyone is in agreement that consumers should have the right to take their vehicles to independent shops and/or do their own work on their own vehicles. I understand the opposing argument(s), but I don’t think anyone who wouldn’t benefit directly is willing to side with the automakers.

So the question is, then, will something like this pass? It has bipartisan support but Congress has also been a mess when it comes to getting anything done, and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon given how chaotic the first month of the second Trump administration has been.

Anyway, you know what to do. Sound off below.
