Porsche Australia has recalled 11 examples of the 911 sports car as the rear seatbelts mightn’t work properly.

“Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear seatbelt buckles may have been incorrectly anchored. As a result, the seatbelt may not operate as intended,” the carmaker said in its recall notice.

“If the seatbelt does not operate as intended, the occupant may not receive the full protection of the seatbelt system. This could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.”
