The Peugeot Partner and Peugeot Expertcommercial vans have been recalled due to a software glitch which could disable safety systems.

“Due to a software issue, the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail to illuminate the visual vehicle speed, lane keep assist and Advanced Emergency Brake System (AEB deactivation warning),” the recall notice said.

“A loss of safety system warnings whilst driving, could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”

“Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Peugeot requesting them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.”

The Partner was recalled in June 2024 for a separate software issue affecting 2023 models, which saw the engine management control and hydraulic brake compensation systems malfunction.

In November 2023, a batch of 2021-2022 Experts was recalled after a fault with software running the vehicle’s selective catalytic reduction (AdBlue) system was identified.

The Partner was Peugeot Australia’s best-selling model in 2025, with the smaller Expert pipped for second place in the French brand’s lineup by the 3008 mid-size SUV.
