When talking muscle cars, familiar names like GTO, SS 396, and Road Runner usually steal the spotlight—but here at AutoHunter Cinema we were presented with this 1970 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 W30 that didn’t give up anything to its more famous competitors. With GM’s cubic-inch ban lifted, Oldsmobile dropped in a 455-cubic-inch V8 and quickly moved to the head of the class. This particular example is one of just 262 Sports Coupes equipped with the W30 package, meaning it featured a 455/370, standard W25 fiberglass hood, racing mirrors, red plastic fender wells, and more.
Finished in Copper Metallic with black stripes, this fully restored 4-speed also looks the part thanks to wild-yet-tasteful graphics. At the Barrett-Jackson 2025 Scottsdale Auction, this Olds sold for $137,500.
