Hey there, TTAC’er. I have some good news for you — especially if you like reading this site while also saving time.
See, here’s the thing. I can see how our audience finds our content. Some come from Google — a link to our recent article on whatever topic, or a recent review of whatever vehicle a consumer is searching for, shows up in a Google search and people click.
Some of you get referred from another Web site.
And many of you, especially, I suspect, our active commenters, come here a few times a day by typing TTAC into a browser tab.
Well, we now have a way that you guys can get any news we publish from Google’s home page.
Here’s how.
Go to Google.com. Type in a topic related to automotive news — we recommend simply “car news” — and then click on the small icon next to Top Stories. This icon will let you customize sources. Add “The Truth About Cars” or “TTAC” by searching for us in the menu. Once you’ve selected TTAC, click “refresh results.”
From here on out, when you search for “car news” TTAC will appear under “from your sources” in the Top Stories menu.
That’s it, you’re done!
Now you’ll have even easier access to us — whether it’s to see what we’re reporting or to head to comments to tell us how much we stink.
Go ahead, give it a try, and if you have issues you can contact us via the email address on the site.
