GMC Adds AT4, Elevation Trims to Sierra EV

The General is rounding out the Sierra EV trim walk with a couple of models which are very popular on the internal combustion side of the showroom.

Starting with the Elevation, a package which tends to bundle popular equipment with jaunty color-keyed exterior trim at a decent price point, we find a truck with an MSRP of $62,400 plus destination. This sets the floor for a 2026 Sierra EV, though it only comes with the standard range battery pack. While GMC didn’t specify those details, a standard range Silverado EV Work Truck can be had with a 119-kWh unit good for approximately 285 miles of range.

An extended range battery (estimated at 170 kWh and 420 miles) is available on the Elevation trim for an additional eight grand. This places the MSRP at $70,600 or just about on top of a Sierra EV Denali with the standard battery, thus proving the manufacturing costs of electron containers have an outsized influence on final pricing. Upgrading to a larger fuel tank in an ICE truck generally does not have such an impact, but we digress.

As for the off-roady AT4 trims, look for a $79,300 extended range model and $89,600 max range model. This is a truck which will receive two additional inches of ground clearance compared to other Sierra EVs, standard four-wheel steering, Super Cruise, and its own interior style. The neato MidGate will be an option, however, as will the 800V DC public fast charging capability which can hoover up electricity at the rate of 350 kW.

Elsewhere in the range, new paint choices show up including a Deep Bronze Metallic and tremendously named Magnus Matte. The latter sounds like a good wrestling name. The 2026 Sierra EV is expected to arrive at dealers this summer.
