Ford Australia has confirmed the popular limited-edition Everest Wildtrak is returning after originally being offered back in 2023.

A total of 950 examples are set to come to Australia. Production has already commenced and the first arrivals are expected in the first quarter of 2025 (January to March).

Slotting between the Everest Sport and Everest Platinum, the Ford Everest Wildtrak is priced from $76,950 before on-road costs, which is an increase of $3860 from when it was last on sale here.

This is the same asking price as the more off-road-focused Everest Tremor limited edition.

The Everest Wildtrak continues to only be offered with the popular 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine, which produces 184kW of power and 600Nm of torque. This is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with drive sent through a full-time four-wheel drive system.

Like the whole Everest range, the Wildtrak retains a 3500kg braked towing capacity. It can also be had with the $2900 Premium Towing Pack which adds a tow bar, integrated trailer brake controller, blind-spot monitoring trailer coverage, and Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

Compared to when it was last sold in Australia, the Everest Wildtrak has gained a 400W power inverter with a socket inside the cabin, also available across all other variants bar the Ambiente.

The reintroduction of this limited-edition variant comes after the Everest became Australia’s best-selling large SUV last year, beating out the Toyota Prado for the first time due to supply of the previous-generation model drying up.

A total of 26,494 examples of the Ford Everest were sold in 2024, which is up 21.2 per cent year-on-year.

“Following last year’s sales, and the sell-out success of Everest Wildtrak in 2023, it made perfect sense to bring the badge back to Australia,” said Ford Australia Everest product & retail marketing manager George Thomas.

“For the past 16 years, Wildtrak has been synonymous with the Ranger brand, and once again we are offering customers in Australia the opportunity to enjoy the same legendary reputation as the ute, but in a practical and luxurious SUV body style.”

2025 Ford Everest Wildtrak standard equipment:

  • 20-inch machine-faced alloy wheels with all-season tyres
  • 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres ($NCO)
  • ‘Wildtrak’ 3D tailgate badging
  • Unique Wildtrak front grille & bumper
  • Accented wheel lip mouldings and side mirror covers
  • Chrome stand-off roof rails
  • Panoramic glass sunroof with power blind
  • Zone Lighting
  • 400W power inverter
  • Black embossed leather-accented front seats with ‘Wildtrak’ orange stitching
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system

The Luxe Yellow exclusive exterior paint colour continues to be offered, but it’s at an additional cost.
