Chinese car giant Chery’s premium Jetour brand has received a luxurious spinoff, debuted with a trio of high-power models.
Jetour Zongheng is a new marque which sits above vehicles from the existing Jetour brand, launched as a subsidiary of Chery in 2018.
As part of a recent product announcement, Jetour Zongheng revealed the F700 ute alongside the G700 and G900 SUVs.

According to Car News China, all three models will be offered with a choice of two powertrains.
A plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system called CDM-O sees a 155kW turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated with a two-speed hybrid transmission featuring an integrated 210kW electric motor, plus a 300kW rear electric motor.
Chinese auto industry insider Tycho de Feijter claimed on X (formerly Twitter) this means combined outputs of up to 560kW and 795Nm.

The second powertrain, dubbed CEM-O, will be a range-extender, with the Jetour models to effectively be electric vehicles (EVs) but with a petrol engine onboard.
It sees the 155kW turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine carry over to charge a battery which feeds power to four electric motors, producing 300kW each or 1200kW combined.
The two powertrains both feature 800-volt electrical systems, capable of supporting ‘6C’ charging – accepting charge at speeds up to six times the battery capacity. Chery claims this can result in a 20-80 per cent charge time of as little as six minutes.
In terms of design, the three models share common characteristics but are all distinct enough to stand apart.
The F700 pickup has a blocked-off grille design similar to the G700, but it also features wide wheel-arches, reverse-swing rear doors, no B-pillars, digital side view mirrors and knobbly off-road tyres.
Meanwhile, the G700 is more conventionally styled, with its boxy shape reminiscent of the current Toyota LandCruiser Prado and Land Rover Defender.
A side-opening tailgate holds a full-size spare wheel, while the air suspension underneath allows it to offer up to 350mm of ground clearance, or squat down to 150mm.
Inside it’s a six-seater, with three rows of two seats.

Stepping up to the G900 brings a completely different design with a far more squared-off and sealed front end, as well as a slightly sloped rear.
No interior details have been shown, however Chery reportedly claims it can swim for up to 40 minutes at speeds of up to 8.5km/h.
All three vehicles are expected to go on sale in China throughout the second quarter of 2025, however an Australian launch is as yet off the cards due to production being exclusively left-hand drive for now.
