Currently listed on AutoHunter is this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. All C2s are hot, but the final edition just may be the best thanks to a combination of updates that included four-wheel disc brakes with dual master cylinder (federally mandated that year). Additionally, this Corvette reeks of balance thanks to the L79 engine, a legendary small-block that was capable of outrunning other big-blocks. Other features include a four-speed manual transmission, push-button AM/FM stereo, wood-rimmed steering wheel, and Rally wheels. Painted Goodwood Green with a black convertible top and matching vinyl interior, this ragtop comes from the selling dealer with a reproduction window sticker, NCRS shipping report, and a clear title.

The exterior has been sprayed in the original Goodwood Green, which is one of those greens from the 1960s that has aged quite well. Other features include black convertible top, chrome driver-side mirror, blacked-out rocker panels with chrome trim, and new-for-1967 center-mounted back-up light. A set of 15-inch Rally wheels are wrapped in 205/75 BFGoodrich Silvertown redline radials.

The interior is furnished in back vinyl. Two bucket seats are divided by a console housing a four-speed shifter. Other interior features include push-button AM/FM stereo, clock, and wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel.

Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery, and fuel. A clock with timer resides in the center stack. The odometer currently shows 61,003 miles, though the title reads mileage-exempt.

Under the hood you’ll find a L79 small-block, otherwise known as the 350-horsepower 327. It is connected to a four-speed manual transmission, helping hit a sweet spot between horsepower and handling.

The undercarriage features manual four-wheel disc brakes (with a new brake system installed last year) and, of course, a dual exhaust system.

The “Split-Window” may be the most iconic, and collectors go ga-ga over big-blocks, but the L79-powered 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is arguably the best all-around C2. Horsepower is never in short supply, the Hurst-shifted four-speed never feels clunky, and braking power received a lifeline with the dual master cylinder. Put down the top and this is peak 1960s Detroit. Remember those days? Sure you do, so pony up and place a bid on the subject of this AutoHunter Spotlight before 12:45 p.m. (MST) on December 12, 2025, because a second after that, this Corvette will be unobtainable.
