The Honda Prologue has been selling like hotcakes, thanks to aggressive incentives and the federal EV tax credit. Acura now wants in on that action and is offering a lease deal on a 2024 ZDX that could make it less than $300 per month.
The ZDX shares most of its design with the Honda Prologue, and both are built by GM. CarsDirect found the lease deal, which requires a reasonable $2,999 down payment. Other incentives have to apply to reduce the price to the sub-$300 level, including a $4,000 loyalty or conquest bonus. Some buyers in the Los Angeles, California, region may qualify for an additional $1,500 due to the impacts of the recent fires in the area. The 24-month lease only includes 7,500 miles per year, however, so it’s important to make sure you can live with the limitation.
I own a 2024 Prologue and have tested the ZDX Type-S, and there’s a clear difference between the two, though it’s good to note that the lease deal applies to the less expensive A-Spec RWD trim. Despite lacking the beefy performance of the Type-S, the A-Spec offers the best range numbers of the bunch, at up to 313 miles per full charge. It sports 358 horsepower and 324 pounds of torque from a single electric motor, and that output is good for a 5.5-second 0-60 mph time.
The ZDX’s interior is a step up from the Prologue’s, as expected from an Acura model. It gets an 11.3-inch touchscreen and an 11-inch digital gauge cluster, and thanks to its Detroit roots, the interface is an interesting mashup of GM and Honda/Acura tech.
