The Hyundai Palisade has been considered a solid value since it was release several years ago, but its price has become less appealing since that time. Hyundai recently priced the SUV for the 2026 model year, and most trims see an increase.

The base 2026 Hyundai Palisade SE starts at $40,340, a $1,735 increase, but the biggest jump came with the top Calligraphy trim, which climbed $3,060 for the model year. Other trims saw smaller increases, such as the SEL Premium, which only jumped by $250. The 2026 Palisade will be built in South Korea and is due to go on sale this summer, with hybrid models following in the fall.

Hyundai did make some improvements to go with the price increases, including a new hybrid Palisade variant with 329 horsepower and a more than 600-mile driving range. The SUV also gained “relaxation seating,” a new digital key system, upgraded USB-C charging ports, and a new tow hitch.

The Palisade XRT also debuted for 2026, offering a slightly more rugged take on the sedate family hauler. It features all-terrain tires and beefier styling. Elsewhere, Hyundai massaged the Palisade’s front end, giving it updated LED daytime running lights and a new grille design. The automaker said the changes improved aerodynamics, with the SUV now reaching a slippery 0.31 drag coefficient.
