Say goodbye to the Chevrolet Blazer EV RS.
Car And Driver spotted a fleet order form for the 2026 Blazer EV that shows there will be no more rear-drive Blazer EV RS. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions remain available.
If you wanted a rear-drive Blazer EV, the RS was the only way to do it. This setup was offered for only model year. The rear-drive RS made 365 horsepower.
A brand spokesperson told C/D: “In an effort to simplify the product lineup while still offering the most popular options for consumers, RWD will not be available beginning with the 2026 model year. The Chevrolet Blazer EV is now available in FWD, AWD, and performance AWD in the new SS trim.”
There are some other chances for the 2026 Blazer EV, all of which are related to styling. Customers can delete the two-tone roof, there’s a new available shade of white paint that replaces last year’s, and a new Tech Bronze package gives buyers 22-inch bronze wheels and special badging.
