2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class price and specs: Entry-level E200 returns with more affordable price

The price of entry to the Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup has been reduced following the return of the E200, the first time the nameplate has made an appearance on the new-generation large German sedan.

When the W214-generation E-Class was launched in Australia last May, it was available only in E300 guise, but the E200 is now back and it offers luxury car buyers similar equipment for less money.

Priced from $117,900 before on-road costs, it’s $14,100 less expensive than the E300 – though it represents a price increase of about $13,000 compared to the previous-generation E200 which was discontinued last year.

Hundreds of new car deals are available through CarExpert right now. Get the experts on your side and score a great deal. Browse now.

The E200 features most of the same equipment as the E300, however, it sacrifices leather upholstery for Artico faux hide trim, and loses the AMG Line exterior treatment.

Buyers are offered a new Exclusive Line exterior package for no extra cost, which brings a three-slat grille, upright bonnet emblem and 19-inch wheels.

Orders for the E200 and E300 are open now.
