recall alert 2022 2024 toyota lexus engines

We have a recall for some 2022-2024 Toyota and Lexus vehicles with the V35A engine.

Toyota is recalling about 126,000 vehicles from the 2022–2024 model years, including the Toyota Tundra, Lexus LX, and 2024 Lexus GX models equipped with the V35A engine. Manufacturing debris may remain inside the engine, potentially leading to main bearing failure. If that happens, the engine can stall and the vehicle can lose drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

A repair is still being developed. Toyota plans to send interim owner notifications on December 22, 2025, with a follow-up notice once a final fix is ready. All repairs will be completed at no cost. The recall expands a previous campaign (24V381). Owners can contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331 for more information.
