Tesla has launched its latest round of incentives to attract customers and clear its inventory backlog in Australia, offering free home chargers and Supercharging credits.
The electric vehicle (EV) specialist has experienced a sales decrease of almost 66 per cent in the first two months of 2025 compared to the year prior, with the Model Y down 43.4 per cent on January-February 2024 and the Model 3 down 78.2 per cent.
To try and counteract this, Tesla is offering buyers of in-stock Model Y Long Range AWD and Model 3 RWD vehicles a complimentary Universal Mobile Connector and 5000km worth of Supercharger credits until March 31, 2025.

Tesla’s Universal Mobile Connector is normally valued at $550, and includes a 6-metre charge cable, as well as 10- and 15-amp adaptors.
The value of the Supercharger credits is slightly more difficult to work out, given these are based on distance rather than a monetary figure.
Tesla claims the Model Y Long Range has a driving range of 533km on the WLTP lab test cycle, while the Model 3 RWD can run for up to 513km on a charge.
The 5000km of free Supercharging would therefore be equivalent to just over nine full charges.
In addition to this offer, Tesla has also discounted Model Y Long Ranges which remain in stock across Australia, with some new non-demonstrator examples listed for $65,800 drive-away – a reduction of more than $4000 compared to its regular $69,900 before on-road costs tag.
That’s also well down on the $82,300 plus on-roads figure the Model Y Long Range commanded in May 2023, however its price has subsequently been cut multiple times as Tesla has worked to remain the dominant force in Australia’s EV market.
Tesla revealed its facelifted Model Y in January, with the ‘Juniper’ update resulting in a price increase to $73,400 before on-road costs for the Long Range – however this is for the Launch Series model, with pricing for post-launch examples yet to be announced.
Deliveries of the updated Model Y are due to begin in May.
While the Model 3 doesn’t get a direct price discount, Tesla is offering a $3500 novated lease incentive for all variants of the electric sedan financed by March 24 and delivered by March 31.
It’s also offering a 1.99 per cent per annum interest rate or 2.99 per cent per annum comparison rate for Model 3 RWD and Long Range buyers who apply for a secured car loan with Plenti by March 27 and take delivery by March 31.
This loan offer isn’t available in conjunction with the novated leasing offer.
