After finally launching here last year, the Renault Kangoo has received an update bringing more standard equipment.

The petrol engine can no longer be had with a manual transmission, while prices for automatic models are up by $1000 for 2025.

The range now opens at $42,990 before on-road costs.

The updated Kangoo showrooms is due in showrooms this month.

A digital rear-view mirror and driver attention monitoring are now standard, as is a 7.0-inch instrument cluster screen – up from 4.2 inches – plus a low tyre pressure warning.

The only cosmetic change for the Kangoo range is the addition of Renault’s new logo design.

The Kangoo is Renault’s rival for the Peugeot Partner, which is also offered with either petrol or electric power. Both are outsold by the Volkswagen Caddy, which is offered with either petrol or diesel engines.

The current-generation Kangoo launched here last year, though it went on sale in Europe early in 2021. The small van was delayed repeatedly, with Renault Australia blaming a lack of supply.
