2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO adds new personalisation options

The pint-size Mahindra XUV 3XO is getting new paint options from later this month, following the delivery of “over 1000 units” of the all-new light SUV since it first went on sale in Australia in July.

Applied as a running change that will become available in October, the 2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO will offer three new exterior colour choices, expanding the palette to a total of seven options – depending on the grade.

Nebula Blue, Stealth Black and Dune Beige with contrasting roof paint have all been added to the top-spec XUV 3XO AX7L, “fuelled by hot demand” according to the Indian auto brand. Order books are open now.

Pricing and specifications for the two-grade XUV 3XO range are unchanged, starting from $23,990 drive-away for the entry-level AX5L – available in Everest White, Tango Red, Galaxy Grey or Stealth Black – and finishing at $26,990 drive-away for the AX7L flagship.

Power across the range comes from a turbocharged 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine developing 82kW of power and 200Nm of torque, sent exclusively to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.

Measuring 3990mm long and 1821mm wide, the XUV 3XO is priced and sized to compete with the likes of the top-selling Chery Tiggo 4 as well as the Mazda CX-3.

This is the first time Mahindra Australia has revealed its sales volumes, given it doesn’t report its registration figures to the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI), and therefore isn’t included in monthly VFACTS reporting.
