2026 Deepal E07 Multitruck price and specs

Australian customer deliveries have commenced for the electric Deepal E07 Multitruck, an unusual cross between an SUV and a ute.

It’s the second model from Deepal, Chinese auto giant Changan’s ‘new energy vehicle’ brand, following the S07 mid-size electric SUV, local deliveries of which commenced late last year.

Deepal is distributed in Australia by Inchcape, which also imports Subaru, Peugeot and Foton vehicles.

Borrowed from Changan’s Nevo sub-brand in China, the E07 Multitruck enters the market with no direct competition. It’s a large electric SUV with a load bay covered by a sloping, power-retracting glass roof. There’s also a powered divider separating this load bay from the cabin.

That means you can drive around with the load bay open, as if the Multitruck was a ute. You can even drive with the rear divider open to let fresh air into the cabin.

Fold the seats flat and you can fit a mattress in and activate Camping Mode, which controls the climate and air filtration settings. In addition, 6.6kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality also allows you to power camping appliances.

Deepal Australia has also revealed a bold new Spessartite Orange exterior paint finish, available only on the top-spec AWD Performance variant for an additional $1800.
