The refreshed 2025 Mazda BT-50 is arriving in showrooms from mid-February, with prices up across the board.

The updated BT-50 was unveiled last year, about a year after its upgraded Isuzu D-Max twin, and it gets upgrades not only from its fellow ute but also from the wider Mazda range.

It wears a face that makes it look more like the CX-5, while there’s also been a number of technology and equipment upgrades.

Those have come at a cost however, with prices up by $550 to $3510 on like-for-like variants.

Hundreds of new car deals are available through CarExpert right now. Get the experts on your side and score a great deal. Browse now.

The BT-50 is now priced from $36,400 before on-road costs for the sole 1.9-litre variant, the 4×2 single-cab/chassis. It’s gone up by $880.

To get into a 3.0-litre D-Max will also set you back an additional $880 for the XT single-cab/chassis, now $39,400 before on-roads in 4×2 guise.

The most affordable 4×4 is now $47,250 before on-roads (up $1230), while the largest price increase has been to the GT dual-cab pickup.

In total, there are now 15 BT-50 variants, down from 22. You can also no longer buy a manual, with all grades now exclusively offered with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Power continues to come from the existing 1.9- and 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engines, with no sign yet of the 2.2-litre which has replaced the former in Thailand.

Certain grades are now available with a new infotainment system, with a touchscreen measuring up to 9.0 inches. A 7.0-inch digital instrument screen replaces the old 4.2-inch display.

Wireless Android Auto joins the existing wireless Apple CarPlay, while there are now USB-C outlets. There’s also a USB outlet located near the rear-view mirror, suitable for dashcams.
