2025 LDV T60 price and specs: Ute more expensive, more capable

The 2025 LDV T60 can now tow more than before, while all members of the ute lineup feature autonomous emergency braking as standard.

Braked towing capacity has been increased from 3000kg to 3500kg, now matching top-selling utes like the Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux.

Compared to runout pricing of pre-update models, the base T60 Max Pro auto is now $4105 more expensive for private buyers and $4000 pricier for ABN holders at $45,253 and $42,990 drive-away, respectively.

  • T60 Max Pro

However, the base price is now also higher following the axing of the T60 Max Pro manual. Runout pricing for the Pro manual was $39,042 drive-away for retail buyers and $36,990 drive-away for ABN holders.

The Max Pro now gets the active safety technology introduced with the overhauled Max Plus models last year, including autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and adaptive cruise control.

The addition of AEB means the T60 Max Pro can now continue to be sold beyond March 1, 2025 without falling afoul of Australian Design Rule 98/00.

It also features an electronic power steering setup, enabling lane-keep assist, and gains a high-definition reversing camera.

  • T60 Max Plus Mega Tub

As with the Max Pro, the Max Plus models – available in either standard-length or Mega Tub variants – are now auto-only.

Overall, the lineup has shrunk from eight variants to three, with T60 Max Luxe versions also getting the axe.

The entry-level T60 Max Pro gains digital radio, black roof rails, and microfibre trim on the steering wheel.

  • T60 Max Plus

T60 Max Plus models continue to be differentiated with a unique interior, and gain a new high-definition surround-view camera and digital radio.

LDV hasn’t detailed any changes for the electric eT60 ute.

The brand is getting ready to launch the new diesel-powered Terron 9 and electric eTerron 9 this year, but evidently the familiar T60 is sticking around as a smaller and potentially more affordable alternative to the boxy new utes.
